Yellow Star Artistry and its online gallery, SpiritedStones.com, were established in 2007 by Cathy Erixon.

Her interest in creative jewelry design combined with her husband's rockhounding hobby naturally led them both into the world of semi-precious gemstones.

Their shared interests have taken Cathy and Chad on a variety of adventures investigating and gathering all kinds of rocks and gems. Their large collections of crystal spheres, hearts, beads and other gorgeous natural gems have become the source of enjoyment for many. Their friends and family members have been fascinated by the displays in their home and thrilled with the handcrafted jewelry gifts received over the years.
